Nedbank sales agents are misleading

26th October 2021 I was contacted by Nedbank offering me a personal loan. The agent did not mention hat this was a pre-approval subject to verifications. I took my time signing and initialing what was meant to be "my contract" and returned it with my payslip. I received a DebiCheck message confirming the debit order thinking here's a bank that's doing the most for me. I was excited. Thereafter silence. No money deposited, after a day I decide let me follow up on this application. To my surprise not only has my application been declined but they denied having a Gift Khumalo who did the telephonic sale, the decline reason is that I am a commission earner, which is incorrect! I am NOT a commission earner. This is a bank I have my salary paid into and my care is financed by them. So for me to get the kind of service is uncalled for. I then contacted the complaints department and Elizabeth Nkanyane could not assist me. She failed to do a proper investigation and get back to me with feedback by unpacking the steps that were taken in looking at my payslip and why it was concluded that I am a commission earner. She has promised to get someone to call me and explain further on Saturday, 13 November 2021, today is the 19th November 2021 and I am still waiting for someone to call me and unpack or breakdown the details they looked at on my payslip that brought them to the incorrect conclusion. As a Loyal Nedbank customer I do not deserve to be mislead into thinking I qualify for a certain product if I do not. If the intension is to make me see money differently then I should not feel like I am just a failed sale but rather take the time to show me that you appreciate me. 1. Can they hold Gift Khumalo accountable for misleading me into thinking this is a guaranteed offer? 2. Do I not deserve to know how my payslip was looked at and what brought them to the conclusion that I am a commission earner? I cannot believe this is the kind of service Nedbank is giving.
