NEDBANK'S PATHETIC

<p dir="ltr" style="color: #000000; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 12. ********** ********** px;">+- 9 years ago in 2008 I had a credit card with Nedbank. Not long after I lost my job and was unemployed. I was thereafter put under debt counseling wich I paid monthly and they then pay my debt on my behalf. After some time I was then informed by the debt counselor that my debt was paid of successfully. So I accepted it.</p> <p dir="ltr" style="color: #000000; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 12. ********** ********** px;">I was never ever contacted by Nedbank to tell me as they claim, that I still owe them money. Now after +- 9 years, I opened a savings account at Nedbank again. The lady that opened the account for me also never informed me that there is outstanding debt on their system according to them. Even after opening the account and they having all off my personal details no one from Nedbank ever phoned me to claim that I owe them money.</p> <p dir="ltr" style="color: #000000; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 12. ********** ********** px;">In the meantime I lost my job, and I am still unemployed. My wife is 8 months pregnant and due to give birth next month.</p> <p dir="ltr" style="color: #000000; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 12. ********** ********** px;">Out of the blue on 27/06/17, I received a sms message from my Nedbank account stating that R2812.24 has been deducted from my account. Very confused and scared I phoned Nedbank customer care line to find out what happened to my money. NEDBANK admitted they deducting the R2812.24 from my account towards my Credit card. I explained to them that I do not have a credit card at Nedbank. They informed me it's a credit card I had many years back! I told them that I do not owe Nedbank anything. All of the debt I owed Nedbank was paid off. They claim it was not paid!</p> <p dir="ltr" style="color: #000000; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 12. ********** ********** px;">If so, that was 9 years ago, and the debt prescribed long ago already! Nobody contacted me EVER! They didn't even contact me after I opened the new savings account to claim money that I owe according to them. They never contacted me to make payment arrangements for the so called money I owe them! SO THE DEBT PRESCRIBED!</p> <p dir="ltr" style="color: #000000; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 12. ********** ********** px;">The only little money I had that were meant for our babies delivery is taken by Nedbank! I am unemployed and don't have any income. How am I suppose to pay for the birth of my child and buy everything that is needed! Nedbank is unreasonable and inhuman to do this! I DEMAND MY MONEY BACK! Customer complaints line said the matter wil be resolved within 72 hours... 3 days and I am still waiting for my money!</p>
