Nedbank's loans department has *********** consultants

I called in at the Loans Department for a quotation early this month. I spoke to Ayanda Skhosana. She then referred me to the nearest branch since there were discrepancies on my payslips. The bank I went to told me that the application has been declined. I tried calling in again a couple of days later as I wanted to establish why it was declined before I even completed it. Ayanda was not in and hospital. Other consultants couldn’t assist as the quotation was “locked” since it was under her name. She then came back from sick leave the following week and called me. I sent her documents and that was on the 19th of Jan 2017. To this very day I haven’t heard from her.

Ayanda’s attitude to customer service is beyond pathetic; she has this “I don’t care” attitude when it comes to dealing with customers. I don’t understand why Nedbank still has such people in their employ. I’ve called Nedbank more than 10 times already. But why do I have to beg people to do their jobs, it’s as if they are doing me a favour.

The service levels in South African banks have become unacceptably horrific. But we can’t blame them since this is what has become of our country. But I generally found nedbanks’s call centre to be in tatters. I mean, they failed themselves to assist me. Everybody kept on sending me from pillar to post. What if it really took the entire month for Ayanda to come back from sick leave? Does this mean I would have waited for her? But she did she come back and she couldn’t assist anyway.

This has been the most frutsrating process ever......
