Nedbank's Greenbacks Programme holds you hostage

I have been trying to cancel my Greenbacks membership for 3,5 months to no avail. When you call the call center you are given a reference number but the charge is not reversed and neither is your membership. I fail to see how this is acceptable banking practice.
