Nedbank retrenchment policy a waste of money

We took out a policy on my in-laws MFC car finance in the event that something should happen. Needless to say my father in law got retrenched july 2020. We submitted a claim on the retrenchment benefit we took out with the car finance. The claim was submitted early Aug 2020 and we have been struggling on a wewkly basis since august to have this claim finalised. Complaint after complaint and nothing... MFC threatened several times to repossess the vehicle and we had to pay despite the active policy and the submitted claim. I dont understand why one would take out a policy as back-up and then when the back-up is needed there is no help. I personaly will never do business with nedbank after this. Been with standard bank and thats where i will stay. Stay away from nedbank and their insurance policies, its a waste of money!!! My in-laws are old people and it their only means of transport and thanks to nedgroup not coming to the party they now about to loose their car even though they have this retrenchment cover policy. WORST EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE EVER!!!!
