Nedbank refusal to fo EFT payments to a thirdparty bank

I cannot believe how backward thinking Nedbank has become. I have just spent 2 hours in the Randparkridge branch getting very hot under the collar to put it mildly. Nedbank in their wisdom are not allowing EFT's to another bank if the amount is under R100 000.00. I was advised to draw the money and go to FNB to deposit it. How archaic can this bank get. I was told I have to download their app and do it via internet banking. This is my mother's account and at 87 she doesn't even know how to send an sms. It seems like they have total disregard for their older customers or those not prepared to do internet banking. What is the bank there for????????. So first it's no cheques allowed and now it's no eft's. What's next. Their transactional money market accounts bank charges are more than the interest earned so they are making their money but are completely oblivious to their technology challenged clients needs and those that just don't trust the digital ways of this current day due to all the horror stories do the rounds. Nedbank I just cannot believe that you have stooped so low. The clients needs are obviously not your top priority........ Bad service and greed are your only objectives it seems. Sad but true.
