Nedbank Really Disappointing

I am so tired and worn out by the horrible service that this bank has given me over the past 2 years or so. I have had some bad episodes but this is enough. I have been unemployed for about 2 years. I have recently got a job and just got my first full salary. There is a team of debt collectors from a Durban number with Indian accents and they are just so rude. I have a personal loan with Nedbank that is outstanding, I really do want to make a payment arrangement but these people are so rude. I have asked about making a payment plan in the bank the Ghandi Square Branch but they were offline.

I do want to make this payment as I understand what will happen to my credit record if I don't but what I cannot and will not tolerate is being treated like an idiot by the team of Indian debt collectors in Durban.

I will not have your staff call me at inconvenient times of the day and reprimand me like a child. I will not have 15 missed called from you leaving countless messages on my phone. This is starting to feel a lot like harassment and it has to stop. I will not tolerate any of this anymore.

If I am meant to commit to a payment plan with you, I will be spoken to with respect otherwise you will have to wait for me and when I am free I will go to the branch and make a payment (whenever that will be).

I will report you on every social media page there is, put you all over Hello Peter and close my account, my son's account and convince my fiance (who by the way banks with you because I convinced him to) to close all his accounts with you (personal and business) and have all my family members and friends are thinking about banking with you to forget ever joining your insulting institution.

With the state of job losses in this country, your people should learn to have empathy for people in my position because I don't know how many times I have considered suicide during this rough patch. Imagine having 2 kids, no work and not knowing where your next meal will come from, then some rude debt collector at Nedbank calls you and speaks to you like you are nothing.

Be careful of how you treat your people, you are dealing with humans, not just ID numbers. Life happens and I would expect that I am treated with respect if nothing at all.

I understand my responsibility to Nedbank, I don't need some rude consultant to harass me about it.
