Nedbank POS nightmare

I attended the Nedbank small business carnival on the 25th October 2019.

Prior to that were send emails to attend an urgent unorganised meeting, of which only myself and another gentleman attended. We were told no other POS machines will be allowed, only Nedbank POS will be allowed on the day of the carnival. So we had to fill in forms and strictly told verbally that no other machines will be allowed. We were promised Masterpass and a PoS machine for the day.

Fast forward to the day of the event. We get there, it's time to trade. I see all the other vendors that did not attend the meeting, getting their Masterpass codes. As for me nothing. No one even comes to check if I received my code. At that point in time I did not bring my yoco or ikhokha machine.

Come 12:00 a lady comes to put a Masterpass board on my table and I tell her not to put it on my table as I don't have any POS. Only then do they get that I did not receive any of the promises they made at the meeting. Suggestion from card division was that I use my neighbor's Masterpass and they will reconcile.

Mind you security will send you from pillar to post as they are not well informed about the visitors. You will be sent from one parking lot to the other even though the invite tell you where to park.
