Nedbank - Poor Estate Administration

I have to say that I am highly disappointed with the service experienced with Nedbank - Estates Division.

The Estate of my late aunt was reported in September 2018. To my understanding is that the L&D account should be prepared 6 months after the estate is reported. It is now mid-way April 2019 and there is no feedback or communication. In addition, the estate of my late aunt is fairly straight forward and not complex at all.

Myself and my family have found our experience with Nedbank extremely painful, with no response to emails (over a week delay or more in response and no acknowledge of the email) and no-one answering the phone on the more than 3 attempts. The only time we are informed of the status of the estate is when we have to continuously follow up with Nedbank and the dedicated person responsible for managing the administrative part of the estate answers.

I can understand that there are many estates that this division manages, but at the end of the day you are providing a service to the clients who are dealing with grief and loss and it is your responsibility to make this process as easy as possible.

At this point, I would not recommend to any of my family or friends to have Nedbank manage their estates. I would appreciate to hear some sort of feedback.
