Nedbank poor customer service and support

I have contacted Nedbank over the years regarding a cancellation on surety I signed 20 years ago for a study loan for my daughter that was paid up. To date I have not seen a reply or been contacted as nobody at Nedbank knows what surety means. I am hopping for a away forward as I have not got the funds for a lawyer R10 000 plus. Can anybody assist?
