Nedbank pensioner abuse

If I could give them a negative rating, I would. My mom’s fixed deposit was wiped out clean! Firstly, an instant withdrawal was made to which she paid for a R24k penalty, further to that, everyday money was being withdrawn from her fixed deposit to a money pocket. All of which she had no idea of. Then after her account is wiped clean, Nedbank then sends her a message to tell her that her account has been block due to suspicious activity. My mom then goes to the bank, and they tell her the issue is going to be investigated. There are so many questions that have no been answered. Nedbank does not give my mom any updates whatsoever, she has to keep going to the bank to ask on the progress and when she gets to her nearest branch they make her call a toll free number. The ghoul! This is pensioner abuse! How did someone make instant notice on her account? Why was my mom not getting any bank notifications during the week that this was happening? Why did Nedbank only notify her after her account was wiped clean, this is 4 or 5 days after it started. This is a 5 year fixed deposit but somehow, someone could access it, no passwords or consent from my mom required. I’m worried sick about my moms wellbeing with this whole issue and Nedbank is quiet!!! Appalling
