Nedbank - pathetic service from day one

<p>We app**** for a homeloan recently and nedbank granted us one which we chose. During the homeloan process we were told that if a house registers after the 15th of a month the mortgage will only be debited the end of the following month. As we are still renting, this info was crutial to us. Registration took place on the 29th of August and the first debit order for the mortgage the 01st of September. 3 days after registration. We were told this would not happen, we were also told you dont pay upfront but this is exactly whats happenning now. We are now in a negitive bank balance due to this. Thus will be paying penalties as debit order arent going through. We were told by the attorneys that we should go to the bank and ask them to reverse the transfer scope funds. We went in to Hype park branch on the 01st of Sept. They said it should take 3days because they havent received our documentation from the attorneys yet. Contacted them again today to track the transaction progress, but were once again told to go in again. Just to request the same thing again. </p> <p>We would like answers on why the mortgage went off 3days after registration. Debit orders are set in place but the paper work arent even on their system yet. The funds should have been transfered back and with each day passing we are getting further in trouble with our bank, resulting in a bad reputation at fnb and wesbank (vehicle debit orders). </p>
