Nedbank not stopping *****

Really Pathetic from a bank like Nedbank. I bank with Mercantile and made a direct payment 27July2022 to a Supplier which at the time I didn't know was a ********. The next day 09:40 I realised I was being ****med immediately I phoned my bank to try and recall the money at the same time my daughter phoned Nedbank to try and put a hold to the "supplier" account and we were told we cannot ask the bank to put a hold on a account that is not ours. After I opened a case at police station I yesterday I only got the case no 23:30. Today I phoned Nedbank ***** department and said I would like to open a ***** case against an account number which I now know is a personal account and not a business account and guess what!!! They put a hold onto the account!!! I asked the lady at Nedbank why they couldn't put a hold on the account yesterday when maybe there would be a chance to recover some of the money and she said she doesn't know why they didn't assist me. I am talking about R260 000 that we have lost! Why don't people care about other people or at least do their jobs!!! I am very disgusted
