Nedbank Norwood - Dreadful Service

On 27th March visited the Nedbank Norwood Branch re cashing in NEDBANK travellers cheques bought in SA some 10 years back in Pounds Stirling – Rand Value 5,000.00. Forex section had no one available – went through to Enquiries – met with highly discourteous, facetious, unhelpful, downright impolite, rude and impertinent individual (male) who informed us it would be a waste of time to cash the cheques in. Although we found out immediately thereafter at the Standard Bank Norwood that this statement is not factual and the Standard gladly arranged for the exchange. It was not only the incorrect information this individual at Nedbank supp**** us with – it was his absolutely uncalled for and disgusting manner in which it was done. Dear Nedbank really - how can you possibly allow such disgusting personnel attend to the public visiting you? And how amazing is it that the Standard Bank attend to NEDBANK travellers cheques with no problem where such an issue is made of it at the very bank these were initially obtained. Will certainly avoid having anything to do with your institution in the future.
