Nedbank Money App
I downloaded the Nedbank Money App some time ago. Unfortunately I forgot my password at some point and got locked out of the app.
I haven't been able to get back on the app again, despite phoning the customer services number and visiting two different Nedbank branches (taking time off work to go there). My internet banking profile has now been reset several times (I am running out of ideas for pins and passwords), but it hasn't solved the problem. No one seems to know what to do and people just shrug and tell me there is something wrong with the app.
None of this would have been a problem, since I can do most things via internet banking and it was my own fault for getting locked out of the app. However, I travel internationally on a regular basis and have to activate my cards to make payments overseas. The last couple of times I phoned customer services to have my cards activated, the people on the other side were extremely rude about the fact that I am not using the app to activate the cards. This is not acceptable, seeing as I've tried my best to get back on the app.
It seems as though Nedbank is quick to roll out new technology, but is unable to solve problems that arise with the use of this technology. Since I travel regularly I need a bank that can provide me with the service I need when activating my cards.
I have a credit and current account, an investment and a home loan with Nedbank, and I will move all of these accounts to a bank that is actually able to manage its technology if access to my app has not been restored by the end of this week.
