Nedbank MFC rude staff
On Friday the 5th of May 2020,MFC Nedbank called me regarding my account that was in arrears for 1 month. I advised them the reason for not paying, which was SA Express Airways temporarily terminated our employment contracts without pay. Pending a final liquidation order on the 9th of June 2020. At MFC I spoke to Thuli Kamteni on Friday and she gave me a payment holiday of 5 months, where I will resume payments in October 2020. She offered and confirmed this payment holiday to me, which included the month in arrears. On the 6th of May 2020 I received an sms saying my account has been handed over to debt collectors, I sent Thuli an email immediately. On the 8th of May 2020 I was called by the debt collectors demanding money for MFC. Debt collectors told me that the holiday declined as there were discrepancies and my car was in an accident as per MFC.
My car was never in an accident, the information captured in my account was incorrect. I called Thuli Kamteni after speaking to the debt collector. She first pretended she never spoke to me nor offered anything to me on the 5th of May 2020. What I experienced after that was a horror of a conversation with MFC rep which was rude, nasty and no kindness through out the conversation. She has no manners, no respect and does not care about MFC customers. I have never experienced such treatment from a person who calls me their customer.
She told me that there won't be any holiday and I must pay the money, I told her that I am still waiting for covid-19 ters payments. She demanded the exact day of such payment, I told her more than 3 times that I don't know when will that be as it is paid by government. This woman is pathetic and does not belong to customer service. Here I thought I was going to leave FNB for Nedbank, it was going to be a mistake!!!
