Nedbank lost title deed and my personal information in their care

I have been banking with Nedbank (unfortunately) for a few years. I recently purchased a house with Nedbank in December 2019. When conducting the application I was promised an additional amount to consolidate my personal loan (also with Nedbank) - this never materialised even though I paid the higher amount for the transfer.

I have since taken them to the Ombudsman who is now investigating since I have a case against them. The head of credit is a man who will nit-pick because of a bruised ego. He would rather protect his status than ensure the client's rights are seen to.

I recently moved to ABSA where the service and effort is above par. They offered me a home loan at a far cheaper rate and took the time to meet my needs.

I issued notice to Nedbank about 90 days ago (90 days expire mid June) that I want to transfer my house to ABSA.

I have recently been informed by Busie at Shepston and Wylie that Nedbank does not have my deed documents. The reason: Rossouws Lesie INC didn't submit the documents to them (this was in Feb 2020). I issued a 90 day notice and Nedbank mentions it NOW that they don't have the title deed document

Tamsin from Rossouws Lesie INC (great individual) responded saying that due process was followed with docex, followed a trail that showed delivery to Nedbank on 20 February 2020.

So, Nedbank has yet again failed it's customer. No only has it failed it has LOST a contractual document with me. It has let my personal and private details out in the open for someone to grab it. It has left me open to potential *****. It has violated my rights and to date no response from Nedbank. So now I have to pay an exorbitant rate to Nedbank who has lost my title deed.

I want Nedbank to answer for what they have done. I want a resolution to this. The abuse and violation from Nedbank must stop.
