NEDBANK LOST TITLE DEED

I have lodged a formal complaint and requested assistance with the regards to a property. I am currently a buyer for the property but cannot complete the process for almost a year now because of lost documentation, and more importantly, there is no trace of the actual deed at Nedbank. I cannot understand how it takes almost a year to find a copy, or make a copy. My lawyers have been trying to receive this deed for months on end now and till now it has not been furnished. This has been going on for 7 months now and no one can point me in the right direction. Furthermore there is absolutely no response from Nedbank.
