Nedbank lies
I had a personal loan at nedbank and was making monthly payments until I was retrenched at the end of June I claimed from my payment protection plan to cover the payments for 6 months until I am able to find a new job. Nedbank took over a month to approve the claim and I was notified that the claim was approved. I proceeded to call them and requested that they stop the debit order as I can no longer pay and the protection plan will cover the payments, I was under the impression that nedbank actually did what they were asked but I found out the debit order wasn't cancelled and called again. In the mean time I managed to get a temporary job which pays very little after receiving my first pay check I was shocked to see that nedbank had indeed taken their debit order after I called twice and asked them to cancel the debit order. This is not the first time I have been **** to by nedbank. My husbands (who was also retrenched) credit card was payed in full when he found out that he had a protection plan he claimed from that and they said they would refund the excess balance of over R 2000 after a month of waiting he was paid just 500 rand and was told that is all the refund and the sms notifications were not correct. Does nedbank even realise what they are saying and what they are doing. I now don't have enough money to cater for my families need but nedbank doesn't seem to care what about "make things happen" nothing ever happens as you ask at nedbank.
