Nedbank left me humiliated

I have just wasted so many hours of my time that I will never get back and I am so very disappointed and mad.I was called by Nedbank and asked if I would like to take out a further loan. I was hesitant and the gentleman was very very persuasive telling me that I potentially qualified for R176k . I have a son entering university so against my best instinct I sad ok lets try for R30k and then the very persuasive gentleman told me that if I paid my credit card and Truworths account I can save instalment and all the usual sales pitch. I then said ok lets go with what you suggest . Loan Reference *** After all that and about eight further phone calls fine tuning going through the contract and accepting everything I get a decline with this answer:(We are concerned that you may be taking on too much debt and may be unable to manage another loan.) I never called Nedbank they called me. They apparently already knew what debt I had and had worked out an offer only to decline it. this after asking me to contact my financial advisor to change my life insurance policy. Am I a joke? What this done to discredit my credit profile and make a mockery of me. I have banked with Nedbank for such a long time but I feel foolish and humiliated. I think I need to find myself other bankers who can take me seriously.
