Nedbank lack intelligent employees
For several months now I have been receiving notification of money being withdrawn from somebody else' Nedbank account. I phoned to be told that I had to go into a branch personally to sort this problem out. I went into the branch to have the woman at the counter tell me that it wouldn't help trying to phone this customer as it will obviously be my cell number on their records. I then asked if they couldn't check to see if there was a landline or email or even postal address that they could use to contact this customer. I was then informed that the customer would have to come in personally and request this information and that the cell number be changed. I then asked if I would have to endure these irritating SMSes indefinitely to which the teller rep**** I would and apologized. Surely something can be done to contact the customer who requested these notifications and is not getting them and to protect his privacy (I get to see every time he withdraws money and how much!). I find this totally unacceptable.
