Nedbank judgement

I did have an account with Nedbank in 2013. I owe about 5000 for this account. This was eventually paid in early 2014. however in 2018 when I pulled out a credit report this judgement still sits on my profile and has been affecting my credit score ever since. I have sent a few emails to the attorneys that place the judgement and I was referred to Nedbank directly. After calling on you recitation speaking to different people I eventually found someone that had told me they would escalate this and in 10 days time I've got to pull out a credit report and find out if it's been removed or not. My problem is this why was it on my profile for so long ?why do I have to pull out my own credit report which I have got to pay for in order to check if it's been removed? and why can't Nedbank send me a confirmation when this is done? Why can they provide me with a paid up letter ? Why can't this process be fast tracked since I'm definitely not in the wrong here .

I'm frustrated with this.
