Nedbank is TOTALLY *********** as my first experience opening an account with them has shown, an account which l closed after 14 days, because they still could not get it right in that time. In trying to sort all out I visited 3 different branches and finally closed the account on the 3rd of November (of which l have proof). Since then I've been phoned by them telling me to go to a branch because l had 3 open profiles. I advised the lady who called that l had closed the account and asked her to sort all out to reflect this closure. But guess what? I've just received another sms telling me that there isn't enough money in my account and that l should make a payment if l want to avoid penalties. My advice to persons considering a Nedbank account? Leave well alone and run a mile. Consider it a lucky escape
