03 Jul 2025, 10:11Nedbank is the worst bank in the world. They are giving me problems with my money. I sold some car parts to a guy. After he left, Nedbank reversed the payment he made to me. Then they called me and said I ****med him. I explained what happened, and they said they would investigate. Since 2021, I have been following up. During this time, all my accounts were on hold. They added me to the SAFPS list because of the payment from the guy. I provided them with everything they needed, and they removed me from the list. I was able to open my account except for Nedbank.
I called Nedbank's forensic department, and they told me to go to the branch and ask them to call to help open my account. When I arrived at the branch, they said I had to open a new account. I asked if my money would be returned if I opened a new account, and they said I needed to call Mpho Mogotsi at Nedbank's forensic department. When I called, he or she was always on another call or unavailable. I left my contact details, but Mpho never called me back.
I went to the branch again and mentioned that I couldn't reach Mpho Mogotsi. They called him or her, and he or she said they couldn’t talk because of another call and could only chat. Mpho said they would send me an email so I could show it at the branch to get my money back and to open my account. I haven't received any emails, and it's been two weeks. I need my money.
I called Nedbank's forensic department, and they told me to go to the branch and ask them to call to help open my account. When I arrived at the branch, they said I had to open a new account.
