NEDBANK is extremely disingenuous

Received my doctoral degree fairly recently, after calling NEDBANK numerously to have my title updated from "Mr" to "Dr" I was informed to go to a branch to get this done. I did exactly that, waited for actually more than 30 minutes to be assisted at the branch but was eventually assist and managed to get it done. My title was updated; about 2 weeks ago it was somehow changed back to "Mr". I take extreme exception to this, obtaining a doctorate is extremely challenging and forms a big part of who one effectively is. For NEDBANK, who by the way literally overrode the Council of Higher Education to determine that my doctorate degree perhaps holds no water, to decide that I'm not a doctor after I did exactly what I needed to have my title changed is actually extremely disrespectful. In fact, I'm so put off that if this is not resolved by tomorrow I am moving my current account and credit card to another bank (it's a pity my homeloan is still new, I would also move it to another bank). If there was something not right or suspect on the side of the bank, they could have called me to ask for whatever documents they need before they presume to know more than the Council for Higher Education and decide that I'm not a doctor.
