Nedbank is defaulting consumers on purpose.
Due to financial circumstances which then led to me not being able to pay monthly instalments on a car Nedbank had financed for me. I was advised to voluntary give the car back in order for it to be sold so it could limit my debt and also help with current financial strain I was facing. Upon agreeing to this and handing in the car. The lawyer/legal person representing Nedbank explained to me how the process would be, what will happen if there was an amount still outstanding from the sale of the car. I was happy with what he shared and gave Nedbank the go ahead to sell the car. The balance on my account is R61000. According the lawyer/legal person I am to negotiate with Nedbank on how I will pay this amount taking to consideration my current financial situation. Nedbank did call me to discuss this matter a couple of times. I was not available. And they would leave an sms with the contact details of the person in charge of my account. Monyethabeng Tshepiso not only does he/she don’t answer the 10 to 20 calls daily I would make he/she doesn’t take calls from other Nedbank departments I had to contact to try and reach him/her. This has left me with anxiety and stress. Because of Nedbank’s inconsideratation of their customers like myself they have even left me with a default on my credit record.
