Nedbank is a huge **** and it's finance house
I took a vehicle finance with Nedbank and had my debt secured with an assurance policy from Nedbank. I was retrenched from work on August 2023 and put in a claim against my assurance policy to help with 6 months cover on my installment as per the benefits but I was declined this benefit saying that Nedbank has cancelled my policy. On whose request was the policy cancelled because I had no alternative cover? Why would you cancel a policy when I did not even fall into arrears?
I continued to pay for the instalments as per agreement even when unemployed because your consultant told me to use my UIF payout to pay and stop complaining. I did exactly that. I requested for this matter to be resolved.
I got another job in February 2024 and we were retrenched again in June 2024 without payment. I have been paying towards my debt over this period and only missed payment in June. I reported this to you and requested to be assisted with Payment arrangements. Your extremely rude consultant Ayanda who I have been in contact with refused to help me make arrangements and said I skipped June installment and have defaulted into arrears.
I was notified via sms that repossession is taking place today and people came to fetch the car today. I was left with no notice or nothing in black and white to understand the action taken.
Is this how you treat your customers? Your website states different information and your consultant treat customers differently.
Kindly provide all written: 1. notices for the arrears, 2 debt collection records, 3 notice of reposession by the sheriff and order given to the sheriff to take back the car. 4 All call recording between me and Nedbank MFC 5 Notice of cancellation of assurance policy 6 Reason why assurance policy was cancelled. 7 Reason why Nedbank gave me a vehicle finance without an assurance policy in place to secure it.
I require all the information to escalate the matter to the NFO because your office has failed me.
