Nedbank - investment payout - hassle

Dear Sir

In Dec 2010 I took out two dreammaker investments for a 5 year term with Nedbank. I was informed that I am allowed to make one withdrawl during this period. I took a partial withdrawl from each of these investments, in 2013 and 2014.

I was told that I can increase the monthly contributions at any time.

Nobody told me at any stage that should I increase my contribution, that my investment period restarts.

All correspondence from Nedbank confirmed maturity date of both my investments as 01 Dec 2015.

I was shocked to learn only two weeks ago that my two investments only matures in Nov 2019.

That was not my agreement with Nedbank.

I app**** on 01 Dec 2015 for the funds. I was informed that it will take up to ten days for payout. When I called yesterday, I was told that I cannot have my funds as it is not the maturity date.

I urgently need my money for an operation that I must undergo on 15 December 2015.

I feel that I was mislead with these investments, because I must beg now for my own money. If they consider payout, 10 working days will be too long.

I trust that you will resolve this issue.

Thanking you.
Tertia Agnew.
