Nedbank Internet Banking - High Risk and User-Unfriendly
The new Nedbank internet banking is a serious step back in terms of security. Firstly, the logon used to be a 7 digit number, 4 digit pin and password. Now it is simply your e-mail address and password. Secondly, I used to have separate profiles for my personal and small business banking accounts as an additional security measure. Both these accounts now sit on a single profile. To add insult to injury, the functionality is also not very secure minded or easy to use. To transfer money between your own accounts requires 4 steps and you can't do a batch. Payments through Quickpay or a list has only two steps. Select and approve. Anybody who gets access t your account can more easily transfer money to their account than it is for you to transfer money between your own accounts. Finally the promise of history being transferred across seamlessly is just and empty promise. My history is gone.
