Nedbank insurance you have to do your own inspection
My outside wall fell due to the rain and the trees from my neighbor. Submitted a claim and today I was told it has been rejected coz they don't cover damages caused by roots not mentioning the rain and soil. I was supposed to bring in my own construction contractor to have a look before buying the house. A little bit of understanding was like I am asking too many questions and the guy kept on telling me my claim has been rejected even though their building surveyor cam thru and find no defects. That wall was bound to give in and if you were inspecting the whole building that should have been picked up. I am not an expect bit if the wall fell and damaged the house still that would have been my fault. I was supposed to put in new walls with stronger beams. I previously app**** for some cash against the house to fix the floors and I never heard from Nedbank till today. I was promised that there was cash I qualify for yet later they never approved or decline till today I still don't know.
