Nedbank Insurance totally unacceptable

Nedbank offered me vehicle insurance in their branch at Pinetown on 24 November 2017. The quote was substantially cheaper than what I was paying with Budget Insuance and I decided to take out this cover for my Mercedes Benz as Nedbank was also my current bank. I also commended them on social media for saving me money on my premium. I had an issue with an ******* debit order on my account which I had to keep reversing and Nedbank Bluff suggested that I change my account. My account was then changed in the branch, and I was instructed by the consultant to see Mercedes Benz and Vodacom regarding a change of banking details as these were external debit orders which I did. I was assured by the consultant that my internal debit orders were transferred to my new account to which I did not double check .Great!!! so I thought. I had an accident on 24 January 2019 where a motorcycle crashed my side mirror and fled the scene. I reported the accident at Pinetown SAPS and received an Accident Report number. I made contact with my insurance company the same day, and provided them with all details including photographs of my vehicle. My insurance received the information and said they will let me know the progress of my claim that was logged with Nedbank. On the 8 February I received a telephone call and an email from More Moagi who informed me that I have no Cover as my premiums were not paid and my claim was rejected. I then visted Nedbank Bluff and spoke to the consultant regarding the above as I was under the impression that my debit orders were switched to my new account especially the internal debit orders. The consultant advised me that his supervisor said I should write to the Ombudsman regarding my complaint, to which I felt that this was unfair and decided to see the consultant and supervisor. He showed me an email from Iwyze advising that they have communicated that on the 15 October 2018 the premium was unpaid-Bank Rejection and on the 31 October 2018 an Email was sent to me from Iwyze to confirm that the policy had been cancelled. My issue here is that I received no telephone call from the insurer regarding UNPAID PREMIUMS and furthermore to that, the ONLY email I received on the 31 October 2018 was a policy review and not a cancellation as per Nedbanks feedback. I would have never lodged a claim if I was aware that the insurer was not receiving their Premiums. I have all documents/emails pertaining to the above and I am actually disgusted in the service I received and how I am being treated by Nedbank.
