Nedbank Insurance keeps deducting premiums for insurance on facilities that no longer exist!
I have a Nedbank account and I have had it for many years. I also had a Nedbank bond and Nedbank overdraft. I had insurance on both of these facilities. I settled and cancelled the overdraft more than a year ago and while the bond was settled in Jun'19. Despite neither facilities still being active, Nedbank Insurance are still deducting monthly premiums. I have requested a refund of all the premiums that were collected post the closure of the relevant facilites as I believe it is a reasonable expectation that insurance premiums will no longer be deducted once the facility they cover ceases to exist, when the Bank is both the Insurer and the Credit Provider. Despite my efforts I have received no joy from Nedbank Insurance and should logging this complaint not result in a satsifactory outcome, I will unfortunately have to approach the ombudsman.
