Nedbank Insurance is a *****
I believe Nedbank Insurance has grown either too big or they have become too arrogant to care about the 'little man" on the streets. What's the point of paying Insurance for more than a decade and the only one time you want to claim for the event you insured they find every excuse in the book not to even process the claim. I lodged a claim on the 13th of March 2021 , got a message that the claim has been captured on the 15th of March 2021 but until now, they have done everything in their power to frustrate me. I have made follow ups and I have been told it's still being processed. At one point I was advised by the consultant that they simply don't know when the claim will be processed because they are still working on 2020 claims. I asked for a number to escalate and I was told the claims team does not have a phone number. I made numerous follow ups up until two months later I was advised that certain documents were missing, which I submitted and my follow up today I was told they cant reach my previous employer - a listed company, still in operation and one I have phoned several times on separate business and the phones are always answered. The documents I submitted also have an e-mail address for the contact person at this company. On the other hand, the same bank's credit card division doesn't stop calling me and even though I have mentioned I am waiting for insurance feedback, they have told me they are a separate business unit. This bank is cruel and they still religiously debit my account with an insurance instalment for good measure. This to me is the definition of *****
