Nedbank In Denial

Last week on Monday 21st November, my Credit Card funds were deposited in my account during the morning. I made payments against that deposit, but sometime later that day, I presume, those funds dissapeared. Not reversed, simply gone, ****, evaporated. I complained twice, was given reference numbers, one of which was for their IT department. I was promised someone would call back that same day..... Nothing. Subsequently a debit order was reversed and I attracted penalties for me being overdrawn, caused by a Nedbank error. On Wednesdey I again insisted someone from Nedbank contact the company who' s debit order was reversed, and make sure I would not be penalised by their error. I got passed onto one Peter Mbele, who has the Trumped up title title 'Resolutions Manager'. After promosing to help me he informed me he still has to investigate the matter. A week has passed and still Nedbank and good old Peter Mbele have not apologised, not resolved the issue, not reversed my penalties and simply just ignored this problem. This is absolutely disgusting, shows disgusting arrogance, illustrates their lack of client service and worst of all, its a reflection of Corporates who lose touch with the little gusy. When I logged the first complaint, the lady in the call centre said it had affected a 'number of clients today'. I was therefor not the only one. Just a simple apology for the inconvenience, a call to the company whos debit order was returned, and a reversal of my penalties, and this would be done with. I cannot think any competant person would take more than 10 minutes to do that. I must assume than Nedbank has created such convoluted and frankly draconian systems this is not possible. This has left a foul taste in my mouth, and after half a lifetime with Nedbank left me sad and bitterly dissapointed. Time to make a change I guess. My next call is to the Banking Ombudsman.
