Nedbank horror

I have never regretted a decision to move to a bank like I do with Nedbank. Never in my life have I experienced a money transfer that takes 7 week days or more. My husband sent me money from a Nedbank account to my Nedbank account last week Monday before 7 am might I add. I just checked my account now, the money has not reflected. After he made the transfer, they called him later on Monday to do a FICA verification, then only on Tuesday he got a “verify it” notification from his app and he approved. He has called them about three times between then and now and they keep telling him to wait. The two ladies he spoke to said it will take 3-5 working days, today is exactly 5 working days from the day of the app approval, still no money. Mind you, we even have our accounts linked to a family banking feature. I really regret leaving a decent bank to this impossible institution. Don’t get me started on how we had to involve the ombuds man for him to finally get his investment money now in 2025 that he requested in 2022 and he was told he had a private banker that he knew nothing about.
