Nedbank homeowner's insurance = no coverage for anything remotely useful
After swimming in our own sewage for three weeks, while trying to get a response from Nedbank homeowner's insurance agents, our claim on a collapsed sewerage line was rejected. Just to be clear, it's an unmaintainable sewerage pipe that's buried 3m underground. But conveniently for Nedbank, such a thing isn't covered by the contract.
After carefully perusing the contract several times, it seems that the insurance coverage amounts to nothing more than the following:
Section 1: Items not covered Item A - Anything even remotely useful.
Section 2: Items covered Item A - Nedbank's own precious ****.
My wife has been diligently paying homeowner's insurance on this place for 17 years, and now that we're desperately in need of assistance, you've got the audacity to tell us to go to hell.
I have two things to say to you: 1 - Thanks for nothing. 2 - I hope that all the legitimate claims that you've turned down, happen to you personally. And that your insurance company also tells you to get *****ed, so that you can feel the pain.
Have a nice day.
