NEDBANK HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE

Earlier this year I redid my daughters bedroom. Painted the walls got her new curtains and bedding. Painted the ceiling perfectly. Then lock down happened. Then it rained and I noticed water coming from the ceiling and mold forming on the walls of this newly painted room. Unbeknownst to us a single roof tile had broken. I love behind a community center and soccer ***** are constantly coming over my wall. I had found one in January but thought nothing of it. Now when I painted this room there was zero mold or any sign of water damage. So obviously the cause of the water damage which happened after the rain in March/April was as a result of this broken tile. My ceiling is soaked and dark with mold. I put in a claim with Nedbank. Wayne the "CEO of Nedbank Home owners insurance" came to assess the damage. The day he came my daughter and I were sleeping on a mattress in the lounge as she obviously could not sleep in her room and I am not okay with my kid in my marital bed. This was after lock down restrictions eased up June/July. He spent about two seconds in the room and said he is not paying for this. It's a maintenance issue. He's not spending his money on this. Obviously as the CEO of Nedbank Home owners insurance this is his money out of his pocket. I don't know how it works I'm not that smart. Then they sent ACM a guy named Tony came and said he saw no sign of a broken tile. We had a guy come out before that who went up with his ladder saw the broken tile took pictures of said broken tile and pushed it in so as to minimize any more water damage. That guy was awesome but the company he worked for shoved him and us around. Back to ACM and Tony the expert on these things as he told us. His report read there was no damage to the rooftile. And that the leak was caused by debris in the gutter over flowing. The gutter is cleaned on a regular basis I am a proud home owner. So Tony the expert sends Wayne the CEO of Nedbank homeowners insurance an assessment that basically says the water from my gutter flowed up into my ceiling defying all laws of gravity and this caused the internal damage and mold. However the plot thickens, Wednesday 23.09.202 ACM sends a guy to replace the non existant broken tile which I have pictures of BTW. And this morning the same person had to come in to replace my ceiling board and repaint my daughter's room. However he stormed off when it was obvious there was a miscommunication between ACM Tony the expert and this guy. Because ACM Tony the expert said in his report there was no broken tile. So Nedbank did not approve my ceiling being replaced or my room being repainted only touch ups. So now I am confused ACM expert Tony had his guy replace the broken roof tile which didn't exist according to his initial report. The water in my gutter is defying gravity and flowing up into my ceiling. Wayne CEO of Nedbank Homeowners insurance only approved what ACM Tony the expert said was the issue. I have a broken tile that was replaced proof of said broken tile and yet there is no broken tile and my daughter and I are still sleeping on the floor in the lounge. I have spent about R1k on mold buster to prevent the mold from spreading throughout our home. And Nedbank cannot seem to find me an assessor who is not white. Both ACM Tony the expert and Wayne CEO of Nedbank homeowners insurance are white. I'm tired of dealing with white men who are experts and CEOS, maybe I am too stupid and the water from my well maintained gutter is defying gravity and flowing up. Or maybe the broken tile is not really broken depending on the angle I'm looking at it. The broken tile which was not there has however been replaced hence ONE STAR. So what now Nedbank? Who is coming to fix my ceiling and repaint my room? I cannot expect Wayne The CEO of Nedbank to waste his time on such a trivial matter. And ACM Tony the expert is very busy even though he has had my excess in his pocket for a while now. I paid upfront. Is there anyone under qualified a non expert and non CEO who can help me. Please all I wanted to do was give my daughter a room for her birthday.
