Nedbank homeloans :Urgent Escalation: Unilateral Amendment to Approved Home Loan Agreement – Case ***

I am urgently requesting your intervention regarding my home loan complaint, Case ***, which was referred by the National Finance Ombudsman. Despite repeated correspondence with Dion Gonsalves, I have not received any substantive response since 21 November 2024. The core issue remains unresolved: Nedbank Home Loans unilaterally introduced a special condition to my bond agreement after I had accepted and signed the original offer, which contained no such clause. This new condition—requiring the sale of my current residence—was never agreed upon. Had this requirement been disclosed in the initial agreement, I would have declined the bond. This unilateral amendment, combined with the lack of clear and timely communication, is jeopardizing the sale of the property and placing me at significant risk too . Furthermore, the focus on the mortgage originator’s conduct, rather than addressing Nedbank’s own actions, is deeply concerning. I have escalated this matter to the CEO via email, yet no response has been received to date. I request immediate action to:

*Provide a formal explanation for the addition of this condition post-acceptance. *Nedbank to honor the original signed agreement without the added clause. *Outline a resolution plan to prevent further delays and financial impact.

Please treat this matter as urgent. Failure to resolve this promptly will leave me with no choice but to pursue further escalation through regulatory and legal channels.
