Nedbank Home owner Insurance is *******!!!!

I Purchased property through Nebdank in August and insurance was included with the homeloan. The insurance commenced on the19 august and I was never provided with the documents. Last week as i tried to submit a claim i was told they cannot assist me because i failed all security questions, meaning my home address, cell number, email address was all incorrect. This was quite strange as my contact details were as per the home loan application. long story short the bank actually used my contact details from 2012 and not the ones that were updated in 2017. The worst part is that even though they are financing my home they themselves clearly do not know where it is located as they indicated it was in a completely different province.

I called my banker who also tried to assist by following up with the relevant department but the manager of that department could not give a dam to provide assistance or a response to the emails that were sent by my banker.

The call center is by far the worst and most horrible service. I called Nedbank over 5 times and no one from their call center offered to call me back as they are an "inbound" call center. The appalling service i received from this call center has been low class, and disgusting.

Yesterday 28.09.2020 an administrator called me to try and assist and she assured me that i can submit my claim from my own service provider and that she would make a note on the system. To my disappointment when I called today 20.09.2020 this was not done and the lady that was assisting me with the call eventually decided to go quite as i asked her a very important question which she never gave a direct answer for. Basically she went on mute until I decided to hang up.

The service from this bank is disgusting and aggravating. Not to mention how expensive this insurance is over R300 more expensive than other lucrative insurers.

I am now having to deal with n unsafe situation at home because of Nedbank and their disgusting service. What would have happened if my house had burnt down???
