NEDBANK Home loan Insurance Claim - Impossible to claim and my house is badly damaged !
3 weeks ago we experienced massive hail damage to our property, after many many attempts to get Nedbank Home loan Insurance to deal with the issue we are still at the stage of no support!!! ... I pay them an insurance premium every month without fail ! however when a claim is submitted - my first claim, I get the worst experience and zero support from them. I constantly call to try and follow up - was told a loss adjuster would contact me - no feedback - now going for 3 weeks and the rain is pouring into my house !!! Claim C*** and impossible to get any support when submitting a claim !! sick of this poor service ..

30 Nov 2023, 12:25Todate, the level of services has been nothing but pathetic and still no progress with my claim. The property is getting worse as the roof has damage due to the hail and still no assessor has been appointed to review the property damage.
- The electrical - which now is tripping the house due to rain shorting out the wiring (potential for electrical fire hazard), not addressed.
- The roof, with broken tiles, is letting water into the ceilings and damaging it further
- The property has suffered extensive damage due to the hail and still no developments to address the issues.
What must I do to get Nedbank home loan Insurance to do something about my claim ?????????????
I need urgent assistance in this regard and have tried to call the Claims dept so many times, just to get the same comment - we are appointing an assessor
How long does it take to appoint people ??... the property is getting more damaged, due to the non response from the insurance dept not doing anything.
