Nedbank Home loan INCOMPETENCE

We app**** for the Covid relief from Nedbank for our homeloan in March. At that time we had been up to date with our payments. We were told that they could only approve the relief for two months and not three as we had a restructure the previous year. We were happy and given the green light. We called a few days or month later to find out what our payment would be with the relief and were told that Nedbank would contact us as they were still busy at restructure side. Months went by with no call from nedbank. My partner went into the branch to find out what was still owed and how we can pay more in to cover the covid relief for April and May. The Branch could not assist us but allowed us to call homeloans. Once again we were told that the information was not available and we had to wait for the restructure. We resumed the payments of 10k in June even though the interest rate had gone down. A few days ago we were called by an agency on behalf of nedbank and told that we were in arrears for one month. We informed her of what happened and how Nedbank homeloans never got back to us with the new payment structure after granting us the 2 month covid relief. Because we were paying extra she said that she would log it as a arrangement. My big issue now is how is it that we are in arrears when Nedbank are the ones that failed to implement the Covid relief they approved. They never debited us for the Month of April and May and proceeded to debit us from June. We were never contacted as promised multiple times. I called in last week and spoke to a guy. He kept telling me that everything is sorted because we have an arrangement now in place and only one month outstanding yet he could not explain why we got in arrears in the first place. He took down my details and promised to call me back- till today nothing....Now we have an outstanding amount of 8k reflecting on our credit bureau due to the incompetence of NEDBANK. WHY did no one ever contact us and why was our covid relief that was approved never correctly implemented regardless of the countless calls and follow ups we made.
