Nedbank home loan department has proven how much it doesnt give a **** about it's customers

I have been banking with Nedbank since the beginning, so my salary goes to them. I have always seen Nedbank as a go to bank should I need any help since they know my financial history. So I app**** for a loan from Nedbank in April this years (just using my salary alone NOT my additional income that they have proof of), and I was told that I qualify for R180 000 but I only needed R150 000, so that is what I took. This loan I took was for my business and I only needed to buy certain things, supply and then get paid. So I got paid for my business within 2 weeks and I asked Nedbank for a settlement amount, they gave me and I paid the loan up. So last week I then went back to nedbank for another loan as I got another business to supply for, to tell the truth I was certain that Nedbank would give me the loan no questions asked since I had showed that I am "RELIABLE", boy was I wrong... This time around I used my extra income of more than R20 000 that gets deposited into my Nedbank account, and this has been the case since last year July, so Nedbank is fully aware of this. However Nedbank had the audacity to tell me that I only qualify for R16 000 (what a huge drop from what I was told I qualify for last month even without using my SOLID extra income) on top of that I was told that the person handling my loan application had decided to only consider half of my extra income... Like how is that so when I have lease agreements and there has been no month when my tenants rent was never deposited and why half? Did she just guess this??? why not 90%, 70% or whatever???

I was not happy with this decision and was told that I could appeal it. I also realized that they had not considered the fact that even though I have two mortgages under my name ( my husband pays for 1 and the other pays for itself since I have tenants for it who pay every month). I then appealed on Tuesday last week, just this morning I called the branch asking if there is any feedback from the home loan department and I was told that the application processing is in in progress but now Nedbank has decided not to use my additional income at all!!! What the hell is going on here??? What gives Nedbank the right to change their decisions anytime they feel like it? Is the staff even trained to do their jobs because it seems like everything depends on who is handling it? So basically it has been a week and I am still waiting for yet another disappointment since they will miraculously not consider my extra income... This has proven how *********** Nedbank staff is and I really regret banking with them because you would think they have your back until you realize you are just fooling yourself. Other banks really do deliver and have their customer's best interest but not the "****ty" Nedbank who insults people by offering them ridiculous amounts of loans based on the staff's mood.

Kudos to the Nedbank client service center staff (Claudine Pillay/Moodley to be precisely). She handled the matter like pro and I did eventually get the financial assistant I had originally asked for. Thanks.
