Nedbank Home Loan Debit Order

My homeloan was registered on 30 June 2017. To my utter surprise, the first debit order went off on the 3rd of July, only 3 days after bond registration. I have confirmed with Nedbank that mortgage repayments are made in arrears. An agent from their colletions department advised bme that the first debit order was for the month of June. Which June, when the bond was registered on the last day of the month at midday? I would understand a pro-rata payment for June, with the full payment in the following month, as logic would suggest that I would not have asked for the full bond amount if I would be paying some of it back after 3 days. Very disappointed.

We at Nedbank value you and take your concerns to heart. An investigation will be conducted soon and a resolution manager will be in touch.

Good day,
Three days down the line, all I have is a phone call to say you will get back to me. This is truly appalling!
