Nedbank Home Loan ***

Greetings

I sincerely hope you are doing well this morning. Regarding your home bond account, Peter, we need your help. We have also filed a complaint with the Nedbank Ombudsman.

Nedbank was prompt in informing us of the Nedbank insurance for which I paid an odd additional figure of R 600, as I was unsure of the exact amount that had been paid for our policy. Then COVID occurred; my husband was laid off after 20 years, and because we had the policy in place, we asked for the bond amount to be paid from our policy to help us with the bond that needed to be paid since he was laid off. We were told the policy doesn't cover it, but they had made provisions for the Covid Relief fund.

Please note that since 2008 up to date our balance on bond account hasn’t decreased at all our balance remain as it is since 2008, who the hell is that possible sir.

Please take note that our bond account amount has not Balan8ce is still the same since 2008, how is that possible so if our bond get debit what are we paying for then.

Our debit orders are not always modified, our debit orders get mortified by. Nedbank texted us early this morning. Franks, RF and VM, Nedbank cannot reach you regarding your home loan account, hence it is essential that we have your current contact information. Despite the fact that I also contact Nedbank and have had this number for more than 20 years, nobody even made an attempt to contact us this morning. I'm not sure if they're trying to cut corners or what the problem is with the Nedbank call centre. Our bond didn't trigger in September 2022 due to unanticipated circumstances. I immediately made a payment arrangement for the extra R 700.00 to be taken out of my bond each month till the arrears was paid.

Then from Nedbank side again somebody went an fiddle with our bond/debit order and the payment of arrangement was thus cancel from Nedbank side an not the homeowner side. We get paid on the 20 December 2022, and I contact Nedbank three times informing them to please note that my debit order should go off on the 28 December for the full bond amount and the payment off arrangement that we made, they must not fiddle on our bond at all they should leave it just as it is.

I discover on my bank statement dated January 4th, 2023, that although the bond money hadn't been withdrawn, the arrangement payment had. To my amazement, I was told that we could not do it that way since I am on a debit order status when I went into the Silverton Nedbank Branch on January 8 and requested them for banking details so that I can transfer the amount of R3939.26 to my bond account. When I called the Nedbank consultant to inquire as to why my debit order for R 3939.26 did not process in December but the debit order for R 700.00 did, I was informed that I, MRS. VM Franks, had spoken with First National Bank and had made the necessary arrangements.

People were discussing the roof over my head and the roof over my children's heads; why would I be so insane as to do something like that? So I went into First National Bank and explained my situation to them, and to my surprise, there was no recording at all.

There will be no more visits. Our bond appears to be Seven Thousand some odd in arrears. Please keep in mind that my husband is still not working; I attempted to make a payment of arrangement again on Friday and was told that the amount I need to pay additional is R 2000, and the most I can afford to pay additional on my bond is R1000; to my surprise, I was told that I needed to make an arrangement of R 2000.00; how the hell is this possible, with only one person working in the house, if the R 2000.00 alone is the amount that I pay for my son's school fees every month?

Please note that I have attached a sworn affidavit to my email. I have also canceled the policy that we had with Nedbank -P*** and my broker has ceded my life insurance policy to Nedbank with Brightrock and with that regards our Broker Gerhard Koekemoer is still waiting for feedback from Nedbank, the additional amount can be deducted from the 25 March 2023that he still is awaiting feedback on I have attached all the documentation for your perusal. Which means my arrears will be paid up in September 2023

I also request that I full investigation be launched in to our home loan since 2008, cause when I was retrench I paid an additional R 16.700.00 on my bond in 2013, but our Bond Balance still remain the same

If you request any additional information please do not hesitate to contact me,
