Nedbank home insurance treats people like *********
In March this year I logged a claim with Nedbank insurance for burst pipes. I was not notified that I had to log a claim for each and every pipe that burst and when the plumber came they were arrogant and not very helpful and had other stories and did not want to do the job. I informed them that I would like to speak to the Nedbank insurance before they started working on just one pipe that was located outside and not even inside the house. The plumbers then logged a sms to my phone stating I had an excess problem which was never the situation. The Nedbank insurance then send an assessor and this man was so nice and so helpful but still the pipes in my bathroom isn't fixed. During lockdown we had a very bad incident when our lapa collapsed during a bad storm. I then phoned Nedbank again and logged this claim and followed up on the previous claim but the lady (Bronwyn Badenhorst) was so arrogant and miserable that she made me feel like a total ********. The bank's assessor said that everything was clear and it was definitely water damage in the bathrooms and same must be fixed. Now nothing is being fixed and I received emails requesting plans and documents for the lapa that I cannot provide due to lockdown. I work in the bond industry and have decided to tell my story to everyone who is trying to obtain a bond from Nedbank. I will tell them straight about the hassles and the incompetence. Thus far I have managed to convince 14 buyers to go with other banks. Why should I support a bank that treats me like a ********. My pipes are still a mess, the bathrooms tiles is still falling off and nobody has contacted me or given me any support. Sorry Nedbank, but since you are not looking after me, I will continue my utmost best not to support you.
