NEDBANK HOME INSURANCE IS THE PITS

I had a breaking a couple of weeks ago, on the 16th of January 2025. There was a damage to my property and ****** items. In the process, they rendered the property unsafe to sleep in given the amount of damage they had done on both the door and burglar. I made a claim on the nedbank app and they called on Friday morning telling me the will send a repair guy to an assessment the following, well given the fact that i had to secure what was left of me, i initiated a minimal repair process to ensure that atleast the burglar and door can lock, hired the repair guy because ag the end of the day i have to put my safety first. I sent a quotation to nedbank insurance team to reimburse for the costs thereof, since then this lady, by the name of Zanele Mvundla has been nothing but a pain to the wound, at first she demanded an affidavit from the police station to show that i paid the repair guy, the list of repair items and their costs including receipts, i gave her all that i can but to this day, she is still beating around the bush looking for some way out not to pay out, youd swear the money will be coming out of her pocket or something therefore i wouldnt advise anyone, even in my next life to have home insurance with insurance because theyre a total ****
