Nedbank has no regard for safety or human life.

I submitted a claim to Nedbank Insurance as my daughter was caught under our garage door and I had to pry the door open to get it off her back. The traveller broke from the force of lifting the door. The assessor that came out said that the door and the battery system is very old and was probably the reason why the door did not open. Not only did I get my home loan through Nedbank, which means they sold me a house with a faulty garage door, but I also have a bank account with them. On my rejection letter they also got my personal details incorrect. They also claimed that the reason they are rejecting the claim is because the door got stuck because of a damaged traveler. I BROKE THE TRAVELLER TRYING TO GET THE DOOR OFF MY DAUGHTER! That is not the reason why it got stuck in the first place. They have absolute disregard for the fact that she could have been severely injured or even killed! This is absolutely shocking service and I am disgusted by their horrible customer service. I will be closing my bank account, and moving my insurance to a different provider. Disgusting!
