Nedbank greed and lies

A year or more ago, after struggling for months. I finally got Nedbank to close my account as I had not been using it, at that point, for a few years. I still remember the call clearly, "Yes sir the account will be closed after seven days" . And I thanked the lady and went on my merry way. Only to now after more than year, to be harassed with phone call after phone call and sms after sms, threatening me with legal action of my account that is in arrears/overdrawn. How in the hell is that possible if the account was supposed to be closed. And further, why only now more than a year, A YEAR, later. I went on the Nedbank app to see whats up, and behold, the account is there, but not in arrears, it shows zero. But greenback point are going off every month like clockwork. What in the actual hell! I was told my accounts are closed and done for. It clearly was not. Thanks alot Nedbank, wonder why I left you guys in the first place hey...... Purely pathetic.
