Nedbank giving customers false information

So i contacted Nedbank to tell them my card is expiring soon, can i log a freeze and replace card since i know i cant make it to the bank, and they said no i will get an sms as soon as my card expires to renew it for free. Now my card is expired, they are telling my unfortunately they cant do anything about it but i have to go to a branch. After i have stated to them weeks before my card expires that i wont be able to do that. They are very inconvenient! Dont value their clients time
