Nedbank ********** car finance

My husband's car is financed by MFC, the car was repossesd by ABSA because they have the original papers for the car and it is part of deseased estate,

My question is how did Nedbank finance the car that they do not have the ownership documents of, to add salt to injury nedbank is not returning calls nor emails regarding this matter however they will be debitting from my husband's bank account for a car that is not on his position.
